3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Primer EC-1945-B/A is a two-part kit (base and accelerator). Our chemical curing primer is also corrosion resistant. Its formula helps improve adhesion of sealers, epoxies, and urethanes to most metals. It cures at room temperature (75°F) and offers a long application time to enable a variety of application methods.

EC-1945 B/A Structural Adhesive Primer requires no diluent, which helps eliminate guess work and the expense of additional chemicals. Our two-part chemically curing, corrosion resistant primer is designed for use with 3M aerospace adhesives. EC-1945 B/A primer improves adhesion of epoxies and urethanes to most metals as well as offering increased corrosion protection. EC-1945 B/A primer can be applied by dipping, brushing or spraying. Our formula provides corrosion protection inside and outside the bondline. EC-1945-B/A can be used to apply anti-corrosion coating on components. The stable coating also protects etched and anodized substrates for long term storage.
