Durable and Consistent The convolute, non-woven construction of the Scotch-Brite™ Deburring Wheel enables it to run smoothly and provide consistent abrasive action over flat or irregular surfaces throughout the life of the product. Its hardness and durability makes the wheel ideal for deburring stamped or laser cut parts, cleaning, or finishing after belt sanding, and reduces gouging of the base material. Depending on the application requirements, the finish left behind by the wheel may enable the operator to skip final finishing steps. Extra Sharp Silicon Carbide The Scotch-Brite™ Deburring Wheel contains silicon carbide abrasive grain. Silicon carbide is a synthetic mineral that is very sharp and commonly used for low-pressure applications such as paint prep and finishing. While silicon carbide breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, it produces a finer finish.
